Appearance: He stands about 5'9 with a healthy physique. Dark skinned, dark eyed with his hair closely cropped to his skull. He has a charming smile when he chooses to use it. He's not to concerned about clothing, usually choosing bright solid colors for tops and then his requisite jeans.
Personality: Mickey is rather friendly, almost puppy like at times in his eagerness to please people. He's good with his hands and has a fairly keen technical mind. He's extremely loyal as well, especially if someone takes an interest in him. On the flipside he has next to no confidence in himself. He may start a new project, go about halfway through and then abandon it because he doesn't feel he has the ability to finish it. He's also gets quite pessimistic on a fairly regulary basis and has from time to time been known to get violently angry.
ROLEPLAY:
How Your Character Got to Malaise House: When he was two his father abandoned his family, his mother unable to take that committed suicide. Mickey was passed on to his blind grandmother and was quite happy with her. Until he was 16 and his Grandmother was killed in an accident. Believing her accident was his fault he refused to let NSF take him and he took to the streets. Three years later he was admitted to a local hospital for pneumonia and seemed to think that he'd just returned from a parallel world with no memories of where he actually was. He was admitted to the psychiatric ward and kept on getting worse. In desperation he was passed on to institute after institute until finally he was given to Malaise in desperation.
Symptoms Your Character Experiences (If Any): Abandoned Child syndrome, delusional disorder, amnesia
Example Journal Entry: So this is the new place huh? Smaller than I was expecting but I've been to smaller and I know that doesn't mean a thing. They said that they'd help me here, normal life blah blah blah. I've heard the whole spiel before.
I get tired of it all after awhile. I've told them time and time again- *sighs*
I just wish someone would believe me.

It was colder here than he was expecting, of course it was Russia and wasn't that a kick? Mickey Smith in Russia. Sure it's because the whole world seems to think he's insane but he'd never thought he'd see past London in this world. A slight frown touched his lips at that thought. He was getting fucking tired of this world as well. He just didn't understand why they couldn't leave him alone, even if they believed him or not.
Wearily he mentally prepared himself for the disbelieving looks that he'd get, if not all out mocking from the other patients. It's not like this place was really any different from the other dozen or so other institutes he'd been to. They could pretty it up all they wanted but in the end it was still crazies being lead by crazies with diplomas.
